These files are for personal, noncommercial, off-body evaluation under LICENSE.md. Do not wear a print or apply it to a person. Geometry checks do not establish clinical suitability.
Choose the source model
- InvisaBrace with InvisaSole: the original two-component Rev 02 STL plus separately extracted brace and sole STLs. The original file is preserved byte-for-byte. Separated parts retain their original coordinates so they can be inspected together in registration; this is not an approved assembly procedure.
- InvisaSole alone: the original perforated, elevated-forefoot sole component extracted from that same Rev 02 STL. No brace, chart-reference model or resized variant is included in this package.
The supplied geometry has not been redesigned, repaired, smoothed, mirrored, rotated, translated or scaled. Separate STL headers/file lengths differ because each file contains only its own component; original triangle records and coordinates are preserved.
Open and inspect
- Verify the file against SHA256SUMS.txt and retain the release version.
- STL does not specify physical units. Inspect native coordinate values; do not assume millimeters, inches or a shoe size. Disable automatic unit conversion, repair, centering and scaling when comparing coordinates. Preserve an untouched copy.
- Compare the model to the included actual CAD renders. The combined model has 193,118 triangles; the outer brace has 114,176 and the sole 78,942. Renders are views of the supplied triangles, not photographs, measurements or clinical evidence.
- The original brace has three pinched/non-manifold vertices: each connects two disconnected triangle fans. The extracted sole has no such vertex issues in this check. These source defects were preserved, not silently repaired. Obtain engineering review of the brace topology, authoritative units and intended scale before planning a physical print. No printer settings, material, hardware, tolerances or orientation have been qualified. Future off-body print work must include slicer/layer inspection, support and wall review, test prints and measured inspection.
- Do not infer anatomical side, a wearable mirrored pair, shoe compatibility or attachment method. Preserving CAD registration does not verify part clearances, assembly function or physical fit.
Correction to the previous release
The 52 InvisaSole ChartRef variants in release 0.2.1-evaluation were generated from a different base model. They are withdrawn from this download release because they do not represent the intended original perforated Rev 02 InvisaSole. They are not replacement size options. Use the new original-source packages for evaluating the intended design; any future sizes require separate engineering verification. Prior downloaded copies cannot be recalled by removing the website files.
Report discrepancies to mike@faithovercp.org with the release version and filename. Do not include patient-identifying information. Commercial manufacturing, paid services and institutional uses outside the personal grant need separate written permission.
